Hi there! I’m sure you have a lot of other things you could be doing right now, so I’ll get right to it.

I’m a Boston-based copywriter content creator, creative director and marketer.  I work with creative teams in conceiving, executing and measuring innovative communications outreach to selected audiences.

The Ol’ Laundry List

With apologies in advance for the long bullet list, here’s what I do: include:

  • Marketing and Advertising Strategy Development
  • Branding
  • Advertising (TV, Radio, Out-of-Home, Transit, Online)
  • Blogs
  • Websites
  • Social media
  • Direct mail
  • Video production and scripting
  • Collateral
  • Email marketing/eNewsletters
  • Speeches & Presentations

Gotta Love Good Marketing Strategy

My biggest thrill (professionally) is when strategy and creative come together to form a most perfect union. A lot of folks only get off on the creative.

Call me crazy, but I fully respect – and strive for – a good marketing strategy. Give me the right audience and the most compelling selling messages, and the creative almost develops itself.

Show Some Emotion

The goal of any campaign should be to trigger an emotion in your audience. Your assignment, if you choose to accept it, is to identify and appeal to those emotional triggers. Your customer may be motivated by success, status, belonging, ego, fear, safety, financial ambition, you name it.

BUT, the fact is this: emotion drives every consumer purchase. People often want the facts, too, but the cash register doesn’t ring until an emotional need has been met.

Industries, I’ve Known a Few

The industries I’ve worked in include the following: (Again, sorry for the laundry list.)

  • Healthcare
  • Education
  • Medical Instrumentation
  • Internet Services
  • Telecommunications
  • Financial Services
  • Graphic Arts
  • Performing Arts
  • Photography
  • Manufacturing
  • Non-profit charitable and trade organizations

If you get a moment, I’d be quite honored if you took a peak at my portfolio overview or downloaded a sample or three. If you see anything that catches your fancy, we should talk. It couldn’t hurt, right?

I’ve won some professional awards, but I’m not going to go into them — because really now, who in this business hasn’t won an award? We are an industry famous for putting ourselves on pedestals for the slightest of achievements. (“Winner for Best Email Subject Line is …”)

You May be a Winner!

If you made it this far, you win!  I’m not sure just yet what you’ve won, but we’ll figure something out. Don’t let me forget!
